The jet-lag has subsided, my cold has almost run its course, and I have finished my first completely journalled ROD! I brought it with me as a travel journal to Italy and Spain where I filled it with postcards and little bits of paper memorabilia along with what I did and the spectacular sites I saw each day.

ROD Journal Number THREE!
The ROD journal addiction has me in its grip! I am having so much fun making these and using up my scraps (and buying more too-yikes!). This is my spring journal if spring ever arrives here in NY. We're having our second blizzard today -- the second one this week. Onto making signatures - yeah!
ROD Journal Number 3!
Love the spring colors of this journal -- they get my mind off all the snow. I used a mix of vintage and new materials on this as well as a tiny scrap from a fabric bundle I purchased. I hunted and hunted for the perfect trim but didn't find any that looked right, so I made my own from some quilt binding that I had made for a quilt seven years ago. I added some pretty flowered feedsack material as well as a small piece of vintage blue flower trim then roughed up the edges a bit.
